Statutory and Admissions Consultations

Statutory consultation

Our statutory consultation ran for six weeks and closed on 26 February 2012. To read the consultation, please download a copy from the left-hand menu of this page, or by clicking here.

We are very grateful to all those who contributed their thoughts and observations and have now published our response here.

Although the legal consultation has now closed, we remain very interested in your thoughts and feedback. If you have any questions or suggestions, please do continue to let us know, by emailing [email protected] or telephoning 07926 637903.

Admissions consultation

We consulted on our proposed admissions arrangements through November and December 2011 and were pleased to receive a number of helpful responses.

We are particularly grateful to Greenwich and Lewisham Local Authorities for their carefully considered feedback, all of which we have incorporated into our final admissions policy. We received no objections to the policy, and all the responses were supportive.

We invited responses to the consultation from everybody who could be affected by our school, but sent specific invitations to the following people:

• All secondary schools in Greenwich (including academies)
• All primary schools in Greenwich
• The London Boroughs of Greenwich, Lewisham, Southwark, Bexley, and Bromley
• The London Diocesan Board for Schools
• Local MPs Nick Raynsford, Clive Efford and Teresa Pearce
• The parents who have joined our supporters list

Our final admissions policy for entry to the Greenwich Free School in September 2012 can be found here.
