We wrote to parents last week to let them know that Mr Faith will be leaving us at the end of this term to seek new challenges at the cutting edge of education. We're grateful to him for his hard work and wish him well in his future endeavours.

We are delighted that Miss Jones and Mrs Duckworth will continue to lead GFS for the remainder of this year and are very confident that they will carry on doing a sterling job - inspiring pupils and staff alike.

We have also begun the process of recruiting a new headteacher for September 2014 and are pleased to have already received interest from a strong field of candidates. Governors are confident that, given the exceptional start that the school has made and the outstanding work of our staff and pupils, we will recruit a superb new leader.
