Secretary of State visits GFS

Today, Tuesday 21st May, we were visited by the Secretary of State for Education, the Rt Hon Michael Gove MP.
He, along with delegations from the Department for Education and the BBC, visited lessons and saw a great debate (on the topic of lowering the voting age) and some computer coding in Maths (in which pupils created their own algorithms to produce prime numbers in Python, which was very impressive!).
It was wonderful to be able to demonstrate some of the brilliant work done by our teachers and pupils every single day here at GFS, and we are grateful for the support of the Department for Education in our efforts to provide a great education for our pupils.
