Mrs Chantler is taking part in the Teaching Leaders programme which requires her to select an 'Impact Intitative' to be the focus of her training:

'My impact initiative looks at how targeted pastoral support can support raising attainment in Year 7. Through a one year project, I will work with form tutors and key members of teaching staff to ensure that all pupils in Year 7 make expected progress in English and Maths. This will be through academic mentoring, raising the quality of teaching and learning and engaging parents more actively in their pupils’ learning.' - Mrs Chanlter - Assistant Headteacher (interim)
